theres a big storm and you run around the parks trying to get the "good branches" first

during the floods the only thing you where concerned about getting wet where the reptiles and their tanks.. the rest is insured!!

when you have an evacuation plan for your herps...

your dragons think they live in a day spa.. baths.. and getting their nails clipped.. plus a free meal..

your dogs know that when their playing to " get away from the tanks!!"

your friends find something bizzarely herp related and expect you to know what it is/could have been/what laid it.. geez

the guide dog got introduced to reptiles..

when you know you dont need a guard dog,,, coz no ones coming in your house..

when you go to the local chinese resterant and just order the containers because all your eggs are hatching and crazy clarks is shut..

when your not fussing over your snakes,, your on here talking about them

when your clothline is just a great place to rest your snake while your cleaning its cage..

when you have a $3,000 car and a $50,000 herp debt

when you look at AHG as just another feeding option to juviniles

when you teach your kids to handle a snake but chop a cats head off with a shoval if it gets to close to your house

I cant move downstairs.
Every cent you get is spent on herps.
Internet is capped from looking up Herp related stuff.
Need more room in the garage for rodents.
Need a bigger herp room.
Keeping an eye out for things when you know you shouldnt but cant reisist.
Every peice of Vegetable in the house is used for breeding reptile food.

when you ask your mates how their reptiles are going before you ask how they are.
when people ring you up asking if you want to come catch the rats behind their fridge for snake food.
when your neighbours don't want to visit, even for the necessities, because they're scared of what's in the house :lol:

When you get wake up in the morning you check all the snakes before doing anything else

When you go hungry because your snakes are getting fed first

When people at pet shops ask you about all different kinds of pythons because they think you work there...but you don't

When the staff at pet shops who know you ask you to come in and handle their snakes to try to get them used to handling so they can be sold easier.

You know you have too many herps, when....

...you buy a new snake instead of paying your RACV membership, and then you're at the service station, busy thinking about the next snake you'll buy and you accidentally fill your car with unleaded instead of diesel! Then you call the RACV for a tow-truck and they tell you your membership has expired and you can't afford to pay it coz you bought that snake!

you have to set the alarm extra early every morning just so you can feed the lizards, turn all the lights in the reptile room, feed the rats and mice and refill their water and feed the dogs before you get yourself ready for work just so you can get out the door on time so you don't miss the train...
