Had my Bredli out for an update picture and thought I would share some of the better ones from the "shoot". They (Mr & Mrs Bredli) are a pair that I am expecting to hatch eggs from in the next couple of weeks, day 50 today.... The female is the Hypo the male is from a clutch of Hypo's but is the normal colouration.

I would say that Zeezza has the worlds biggest male Bredli!!! LOL. My Female is 4 years old and about 7ft the male of the same age would only be 6ft. My female laid 23-24 eggs this season, I know they can lay up to 50 so my thinking is the female would almost need to be the size of Zeezza's.

Are you sure your snake isn't a girl Zeezza? Its head is insane! do you feed it small goats??

A couple of head shots.......

I like shot 4 and 5 from your 1st set, my favourite species by far.
Zeezza I doubt your male bredli is 8.5-9ft unless they are old pictures? A step tread is approx. 300mm in length which means your bredli looks around the 6ft/1800mm mark in that picture, to get the extra 2.5-3ft that picture would have to be nearly a decade old? It's common practise for people to over estimate the length of their snakes ;)
Back to the point biggest I've seen is 7ft and that was a monster female.

Love love love some of the bredli's in here.

I had my boy out last night for a bit of a photo session.

The thing that strikes me about Zeezza's snake is the head. He/she had a real hunka head...

The reason I think female is because of the size. Males are generally smaller, only to be used as a guide of course.... and I can't help at all with sexing........ I have never done it. I think, looking at the photo's, that your snake would make 7ft+. I estimate mine by the dimensions of the enclosure, mine are 4ft x 2ft, so watching her navigate the enclosure you can make some good approximation. Waiting with baited breath for the measurements!!!!

Top photos Bradchip!! I tried to keep my photos as "real" as possible and needed to manipulate them to get the colours right, numerous factors: overcast, rainy and moving subject, all made my task a bit harder. I usually like the light that rain clouds throw, but maybe I left it a bit late in the day.... My hypo is a real "ginger" colour now, not the deep red she was when younger.... the photo's don't do her justice.

Zeezza nice big bredli you have brad chip great looking hypo great photos too
