Please critique my click-clack

I'm confused about heating. The guy I bought mine off said not to use a thermostat in summer cos it's hot in my room but I don't know how to use it for winter. It's pretty dodgy by the looks of it anyway. I have a really bad bulb in there but Sorin never gets cold unless he's been in his water. He hates the big bulb I got him. Anyone want a really big bulb?

we use plastic pots for all our snakes...you can buy from bunnings, or some cheap stores will sell them too in any size and sometimes even color. they all seem to love it, one of them prefers to sit under the newspaper in her hide though which keeps her happy...
the pots usually work well....you just cut a hole to make a doorway for them to get in and out.
