for my snakes... spot clean and add as necessary. complete clean and change 1x month. I am using kritters crumble

i use newspaper so i change it once a week or as soon as i see number 1's or 2's.it is so easy and cheap.

Sorry guys , i hate newspaper, it looks hideous. Along with the empty cereal boxes and toilet rolls.....haha......We have done away with substrates altogether, instead using an artificial rock floor, sloped in such a way to funnel to a drain for easy cleaning.

yep. i dont use a rock floor or anything but i really dont like news paper. aspen is my personal favourite. it looks fairly nice, its absorbant and its easy to clean out when need be
