this guy lives in my back yard every now and then i throw a small Woodie into his web
photos are average i only have a point and shoot and was using a torch to get focus.

he looks pretty cool and the spider too. i got bitten by a spider today cheeky little so n so. So what is SW mean. i've got one just like him and all i know is that he is a stripy carpet

ah its a South West Carpet (Morelia Spilota Imbricata).

the spider is pretty cool it comes out in the same spot every night, and then vanishes during the day, its web runs from 2 bushes close to 1m apart
