Looks like a white crowned snake, if not it is some type of crowned snake.
 
yer it looks like a white crownedsnake (Cacophis harriettae) but am only fairly new to reptiles so i cant be certain :)
Great find whatever they ID it as. :D
 
so you can keep these guys without having a fridge full of antivenom.he looks so skinny and slick.is he a bubs that size or an adult?
 
Found in a kitchen on the south side of Brisbane... Thanks for all your ID help guys!
 
Unfortunately the location can't eliminate any of the likely suspects, as three Cacophis species are found around Brissy but thanks anyway. Locality is almost always helpful in I.D's.

I'm confident that it's C. harriettae though, based on the fact that the nape band is incomplete in C. squamulosus and narrow in C. krefftii.

Why would you keep it??? It's obviously a wild animal!!!!! Even if you could... would you do it?
