Just thought id share, just now one of my "female" coastal carpets just shed in front of me, I have not had this snake probed and bought it 2 years ago as a female. As it shed I was watching and trying to get the skin off in one piece (didnt work) and saw this.

now im not an expert but they look like hemipenes. :rolleyes:

its not the hemipens skin but rather sperm plugs in the shed skin you got there,
either way definatly a boy
 
and how sure are we he is a boy? Would this not be an easier way to check sexes than probing?

im pretty happy to say mine is male. ive got a friend who probes his snakes so i might take it to him to confirm.
