Hi Muchacho's , Can anyone hazard a guess as to the sex of these monitors below?

Regards

The bottom one looks to be female the top one is hard to say. How old are they?

Based on their head proportions, Im thinking possibly male in the first pic and female in the second pic. Though if the first pic was male he seems to have less condition on him than the second monitor.

My guys are the opposite. Im trying to put condition on the female and keep the male on a diet. BTW my guys were bred by Antmisk;)

"Hazard" and "Guess" go well together with regard to monitors IMO:)! The only sure way to sex Spencer's that I have found is to wait until they have a bit of size/ age and get them x-rayed. I found my pair were easily discernable at 3 years and approx 100cm. Though if I were to generalise, I found females tend to be more flighty, more inclined to hide and can be aggressive with cagesmates at times whereas males are often the opposite.

Hope this helps.
