hey guys found this lil fella yesterday at a friends place. was sitting under the filter on top of there water tank. grabbed him and moved him on to a safer place as they have 2 little kids. i was amazed how vibrant the underbelly was on this lil guy.

Its a Small Eyed Snake, Not a red Belly

Red bellies have the wider ventral scales and the brown snout
 
I was going to ask why everyone assumed it was a RBB, but then I reasoned with myself with the fact that it is wonderfully vibrant for small-eyed. Lovely find.
 
Nice Bass..lol the pic had first bass of the season titled on it..lol Kool Snake though.

I can't understand why anyone would think that about a black snake with a red belly :lol:

I had a feeling it was also a small-eyed snake, but had to ask what the hell it was doing up a tree? :lol: :D
guys it was in a water tank and that was the only thing close to a hook to get it out
