Reptile dreams, who's had them?

I actually had a dream just recently that I was struck at by a red belly. I woke up yelling and threw my arm back to avoid being bitten and almost whacked my husband.

The only other dream I can remember clearly is getting a tattoo from my shoulder to my elbow - a carpet snake wrapped around my arm and its head resting just past my elbow.

I dream of snakes all the time (nearly every night). because all day every day, all I am ever thinking about is snakes so when I go to sleep my subconcious just continues along with the theme.
I cannot count how many times I have had dreams where I was bitten by an elapid; I think these dreams serve a purpose to keep me from becoming complacent in reality. I have felt the pain of venom in my dreams. I sure as heck don't want to feel it in reality.
