With my snakes
I went sailing up the Wilson River at Telegraph Point, today. What a fantastic morning. It was high tide, the water was almost glass. I went about 4.5Km up river counting water dragons along the way, and was even lucky enough to spot a pair of carpet pythons mating, in a tree overhanging the water. So that's where I stopped for morning tea just to watch these beauties. Then I spotted a pretty, high yellow water dragon on a branch, but as you can see, he took a flying leap as I clicked the camera. I didn't mean to get so close to him, but my boat was drifting in to the bank and it scared him.

The branch to the Cenre-right of this photo has a water dragon sitting on it. He jumped away, too...

Here are the carpets. Took me a while to work out if it was one big fella or two together, but I did get a glimpse of two tails crossed together :D

And captured a few seconds of them moving about :D
