Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this or not. Mods feel free to move it if you feel it should be elsewhere.
I am currently researching the types of disinfectant people are using & on what surfaces they are using them on, specifically for the use with herps. I'm not interested in what people are cleaning the kitchen bench top with, just enclosures/tanks, what kind of herp lives in the enclosure/tank & what product they are currently using.
I am researching this in conjunction with my bachelor of science that I am currently undertaking. I am trying to show the difference between perceived hygiene due to commercialisation & the different levels of hygiene that are generally kept within different social groups, i.e. private collectors, zoos, vets, commercial breeders, etc.
If anyone would care to add their information to this it would help me with my studies to no end.
I don't need to know how many herps you have, where you live or any personal information. I understand that people are wary about giving out information in regard to their pets in light of some recent events, that is why I thought forums would be a better vehicle to obtain information.
All information gathered will be anonymous!
Thanks everyone for their help.
