I was SO hoping to find a toy/model of a BHP about 6" long to use on my Wedding Cake, and am heartbroken to find there are NO models of real snakes, just these stupid looking ones that have top and bottom front fangs... On a PYTHON?? Back to the drawing board. :S

Get someone to make you one out of icing. You know how they make flowers etc to put on wedding cakes?

Thanks again Snake_Whisperer!!

Would you believe the Cake maker/decorator 'suggested' twisting two different colours of Icing together? I kept suggesting other ideas, but she wouldn't listen. Lol. I will have to post photos after because this is not going to be a standard Wedding. :D I am not into Cut flowers, but my BHP has a special meaning to both of us. I tease him & tell him he was staring at my BHP before he noticed me. ;) So I reckon THIS Bride will be carrying a BHP and not Flowers... All 2+m of her!!! Lmho... I guess some of the guests will be a wee bit nervous, but I don't care.

Hubby-to-be has scared crap out of me for suddenly slamming on the brakes and being in the Table-drain while driving home... Just for us to admire the BHP that is crossing the road. WHAT a man. :)

You could also have little clay BHPs made up to coil around candle holders to put on the guests tables instead of flower centrepieces.
Just throwing the idea out there :)

Its not suprising you cant find a model of a BHP though a good cake decorator will make you one out of icing

Shame you're not in Darwin. My daughter makes specialist/ novelty cakes and she's a snake lover! She would make a ripper!

How long away is the wedding? I can have a sticky at work at the miniatures and see if there is anything that might suit. Anything can be posted :)

Carryig a BHP down the aisle instead of flowers woud be great! Except maybe dont try throwing it the air after the ceremony...
