Buying a snake for the first time?

Hey guys im new to all of this stuff, i am going to buy a spotted python and i would like to know if 10-11 months old is a bad age?

That is not a bad age, No age is bad at all. Aslong as they are feeding well and are in optimal health and your happy with your choice.
