It dosn`t say the snake has eaten all 8 chooks. It says that they dont have 8 anymore,still might have 7,or 6. Ross.

A repeat offender and regular visitor to the chook pen was my thinking. 8 chooks ovr 8 weeks

They dissapeared over 12 months, they wernt all eaten at once. We had seen him several times. We tried to snake proof the pen but the possums kept finding a way into get the cook food and the snake would follow.
The object in the background is an old pool pump that I use to holdnaturally fertilised water from my vege garden.
