I am thinking keelback? Any other ideas? He's been living in our swampy spa but we cleaned it out today . . I get more photos if anyone needs any

I know they aren't the best photos but didn't wanna risk touching it until I was certain what it was . .
 
Judging by the head, rough scaled, but I could be wrong.
 
Im not 100% sure, but yes, rough scales are venomous.
 
Best to treat it as a rough scale, better safe then sorry.
I'm also thinking roughscale but it can be hard to tell.
 
You wouldn't get Rough-scalled snake in Townsville. It's a Keelback.

According to some websites they (rough scaled) can be found in Tully, so I assume you would get them in Townsville also? I'll just treat it as venomous . .

I just wonder if I should get a snake catcher to get it, or if i'll be safe moving it . .

As for eye reflections I took the photos on my Iphone . . So don't judge!! :p

Tully and Townsville are very different places. Not much rainforest around Townsville, is there ;). Roughies are not even found at Paluma.
