I love my job!!!!

To get to work I drive along what could be the worst dirt road in SE NSW, then through two big security gates to a big building on a hill, surrounded by flood lights and fences. I get punched, kicked, yelled at, threatened and so on. I work up to 30 hours at a time. I get payed to eat and sleep. I kill time by looking for things and find frogs, beardies, Jacky's, bluies, EB, RBBS, Torts. I get to set yabby traps and go fishing and swimming.

Its never a dull day in my job

Hahahahaha, Disability work. Sorta specialist side. Work with Dual disability (Intellectual disability and Psychological/mental illness).

Bugger working as a screw. I did a bit with Corrective services, Drug and Alcohol Rehab but its the same story over and over and they don't wanna change. Only want early parole.

Mm..then they recognise you when they're packing your groceries at coles..ah, that takes me back. Fun times.

So where do you work then? Is it a hospital or a long-stay? Sounds..intense.

Meant to be respite but its long stay, the current residents have been with us for a few years.

Yea its pretty full on at times but its bloody great fun too

I used to do the refrigeration and air conditioning at the Silverwater complex, the worst was Mullawa (the girls). Because I wasn't a screw, the guys treated me quite well but in the womens side..........they spat at us , abused us.......scary.
