I was in Sydney last week and had the chance to go snorkelling and make a little video.

Maybe there are some divers on here that may enjoy it; sorry not a herp in sight!

Awesome video. I dive and spearfish (not at the same time) so definitely appreciate it . You've obviously got a calm presence in the water because they aren't bothered by you at all

I have neither a quiet presence in the water or great lungs, for most of the video I just propped up the camera on the bottom and swam away for 10 minutes, hence the fish being quiet relaxed and inquisitive.

Will have to get down to Mornington and give it a try down there Baz, I've seen some videos from Rye pier which looked pretty interesting.

Ive seen a few blue rings, they are fairly common around the mussel farms and on the pier pylons.
If you are getting / harvesting the mussels you need to take special care.
I caught my 1st one when I was about 10 from the pylons of the Rosebud pier.
