What heatmat?

Hey everyone
Does this heatmat look alright?
28W Heat Mat Black & Probe Temperature Control [HMAT28CN] - $85.44 : Pets Den!, Reptiles, amphibians, snakes, lizards, fish, aquarium, cats, dogs, turtles, geckos.
If not what heatmats would you recommend?

what size enclosure/click clack is it ?

I used the 7 watt version of this heat mat in between two ceramic tiles for my hatchy gammons, worked a treat.

Personally I would prefer a heat cord, had a mat short out once and left nasty burn mark on enclosure.

Don't have a click clack yet, just planning ahead, but it would be for a Bredli. Littlemay can I ask what the tiles are for? Sorry if thats a stupid question

I used the tiles so that i had a nice even heat distribution and so the heatmat wouldn't have direct contact with either the click clack or my table.

Does the watt size matter at all?

If snake is going to get bigger and will be put in an enclosure one day, might as well invest in a good timer/thermostat and just use that. Then you have one ready to go for new enclosure.

28W? Must be a big mat. I would definitely suggest using a heat cord. Even if the thermostat breaks, you're in no danger of burning your snake and melting your click clack with a heat cord (unlike a heat mat).
