Hey guys candled the snake eggs tonight still all healthy from what i can see i'm at day 51 and was wondering at what day you would start to pip them if nothing comes out over the next week or two. as said in the title eggs are from a MD clutch incubated at 31.5 degrees roughly there have been a few days where the temps went just slighty higher or lower. the eggs have been incubated on a 50/50 vermiculite mix. the eggs where left in a clump as i had found them later in the day and did not want to risk damaging any as they where pretty well stuck together. any advice is welcome as its our first clutch. im hoping they will do it all on their own in their own time. but at what point if nothing comes should i start to worry. i was going to pip them all once the first few start to hatch out but any advice would be appreciated.

You probably have at least a week to go. It is fine to pip when the first one starts to hatch, but best not to rush things. The eggs will cave in a bit (in most cases) and right before hatching you will not see veins anymore. Be patient! It may take 3 or 4 days for all to emerge from the eggs once they get started.

Be patient, they will pip when they are ready.
My first clutch was nerve racking too, once the first piped, they all emerged within 48 hours on their own.
I felt like doing a manual pip too but I'm glad I didn't!
Each to their own though.
