So we decided to put the female beardie in the pit outside with the male to see if he would still be interested, this is what happened over about a 25 second period once he saw her:



never knew they could go that yellow. he is normally the same colour as the one in front of him. so is that a dominance thing or a mating thing?

It's likely a 'let's have special cuddles' but make sure you keep an eye on them, just in case he is really dominant and starts to get aggressive.

yeah we have been, he was at first but has settled down a lot. there is also plenty of space and hides for her as well. thanks
