This is my first build and I had some questions because I am a noob

I was thinking of building a 6'x4.5'x3' enclosure in 4 parts..the base..the top..and the "body" of the enclosure is split into halves so I can move it into my basement and assemble it there when its finished.

So my questions are:
1. Would 2x2s be strong enough for the frame or should I use 2x4s?
2. Is 3/4" plywood good for the walls?
3. Is glass better than mesh for the window?
4. What sort of lighting do I need?
- I know I need a basking light but I am not really sure what else
5. Where do I need to place the different lights?

That is all I can think of for now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

if you need to ask about lighting and where to place them. i would think about doing some more research on the animal. It is all readily available on various websites. If not every time you ask these questions you will either get ignored or abused by higher members. This advice is from experience. As i asked the same questions a year ago and got excessive abuse. The best idea is to go to ur local shop and ask or do ur research and prove it to the guys on here that you are really stuck.

no offence intended

There is a book called "Keeping Australian water dragons". Read it.
