This lil poppet was purchased as a Spotted hatchie by the original owner - I picked up the poppet today and it doesn't look like any of my Spots in pattern or head shape - if anything it looks more like my Stim and very similar in head shape to the Childrens youngster that they showed me which they were keeping (they purchased it at different time). It was originally bought from a pet store - so any assistance in confirming it's likely breed (or croxx breed?) would be much appreciated :)

Pet shop defined species for Antaresia always feel a little dubious.
In this case from the photos i cant see anything that would suggest its anything but a normal looking A. maculosus.

Really? Even the lil Spots i've seen and have, have all had that obvious typical python head where this one doesn't (same as my Stim), and the pattern isn't like my standard Spots either. I'm not worried either way just if she goes in with some company i don't want it to result in a cross bred clutch.

Im not sure what you mean by "typical python head" but macolusa and stimsons both have very similar head shape

Looks like a mac/spotted to me :p

It's a spotted to me. My childreni was sold to me as a spotted when he clearly isn't. Some just seem to lump them all under the one name

Looks just like my Mac...

Feel free to compare it to the pics in my profile album though.

Plain old Mac. If it doesn't look like your others, maybe it's them that aren't actually Macs?
