G'day my 2.4m coastal just took a rabbit and coiled it sideways the rabbit just broke in half (gross). is this ok??? I've never seen it happen before!!
 
You mean it tore open? When you say it "broke in half', it sounds like the rabbit was frozen ;)

But to answer your question, there's no harm in a prey item bursting open. It just gets messy, that's all.
 
i have seen prey items bust open and drop legs, but i have never seen one break in half, im sure its 100% fine.
 
Are you sure that it was not an over cooked rabbit,LOL.
