Colour and Pattern Variation in Carpet Snakes

Hi, I just thought that I would post these two photo's that I took this morning. I caught these two coastals in the last week, visiting my chook pen, precious little darlings! I am going to release them this afternoon. It amazes me the colour and pattern variation in two animals in the same location, just north of Bundaberg!

Interesting. Makes me think about people who look at a snake and then claim to know its locality? Im not saying there frauds but there are obviously exceptions when it comes to locality.

The 2nd one looks like sum of these top $$$$ peppered coastals it's nice how big is it ?

Around 4 foot! They are both roughly the same size.
