How did you aquire your herps?

I worked like a dog for a few months...

Saved money...

Sent saved money to a few crazy mofos that have male and female snakes via the interweb like magic

Crazy mofos put miniature versions of their male and female snakes in boxes...

Boxes were put in crazy flying metal trains

I then picked the boxes up from the flying train depot

Some I bought from a guy at the pub, the rest followed me home from school, honest mum they did.

caught all mine in the forest it was being cleared for homes at the time way back in 1984

I just made an awsome enclosure.

Left the door open and they moved in.

Build it and they will come..........

i got mine from a pet shop. he came with no history except what i had been told ( was told he was a great feeder and really calm- all lies) he was not handled at all at the shop. whilst he was fed and had appropriate water shelter heat etc i still think handling would have been nice too...
personally i will never be going through a pet shop again because i had such a bad experience with it this time. breeders all the way! i just think they know their animals better..
