I just wanted to shout out to those who have lost one of their snakes, I unfortunately now know your pain...

I just found my year and a half year old Maculosa called Nef, dead in her enclosure. She was my first snake.

She was fine this morning, right heat, water, and I went to feed her tonight and she was gone.

I'm not looking for sympathy, or diagnosis on why she died.

I just wanted to voice that i now know how upsetting it is...

*awaiting flames from people*

That's a shame. I'm sorry for your loss. :(
I'd suggest you get a necropsy done, at least that way you'll know why she died.

Why would you assume you'll get flamed? Death is a natural part of life and unfortunately can happen even if we think we've done everything right. Sorry for your loss.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the best way to store the body is in the fridge, not the freezer I think.

If getting a necropsy done keep it in the fridge not freezer and get the necropsy done as soon as possible.

Sorry to hear mate keep your head up
