Hey guys, just wanted to ask if this sort of enclosure would be suitable for an adult Rough Scaled Python, with the tree trunk, greenery and all except the fish/aquarium at the bottom. The dimensions are 2.1m H x 1.25m W x0.7m D.

Thanks.DSC00352.jpg

Ben does amazing work! If you want something that stand out I highly recommend him!

It should I don't keep them but everyone says there care is like most carpet pythons and I'm pretty shore that that from his vids that Ben keeps an albino Darwin carpet python in 1 of those

i have that same enclosure sitting in my loungeroom with a jungle in it. He makes fantastic enclosures and a pleasure to deal with.

Not to cause offense with this comment but I think it should be raised in case you are not aware. It seems as though you don't actually have a snake or any experience with any pythons based on your previous comments and your signature. You should know that in SA, the rough scaled python (Morelia carinata) is on the specialist (class 3) list of species to be kept in the state. To get a class three endorsement, you must display PREVIOUS keeping and breeding experience with more common, easy to keep species.

If you have a specialist permit with the correct endorsement, I apologise, if not, I think you will need to consider another species to keep, other than M. carinata.

Hmm, thanks for the insight, I remember reading the licensing information in SA saying you need a Basic license to keep a Carpet python (Morelia), and I read that you don't need a license for just one reptile.

Well that's a disappointment but anyway thanks for the info, I will look into reconsidering.
