As the title states I recently changed from newspaper to coco-peat (eco-earth) bedding for my Pythons.

I didn't dry the food items off enough and some got stuck to the Rats so some would of been ingested by my Pythons. Should I be worried at all? I mean I'd gather in the wild they'd ingest worse and still come out okay I thought I'd just check.

Thanks guys.

Yep will be fine. most of the time if it worries them they simply move their heads around and wipe it from the outside etc anyhow

Not much you can to now anyway haha, Just try and get those rats as dry as possible next time :)

They digest bones, feathers & the rest of the stuff, why could they not digest a piece of paper.

Cheers Ian

Yeah I thought they would be okay I was only worried cause' I have heard rare stories of reptiles dying from impaction with certain substrates. Cheers.
