retained pre lay shed, need advice?

My pygmy stimi has retained about an inch of skin under her chin and just around her neck section. this is i think a pre lay shed as she is starting to swell, should i leave it till next shed or be bathing and removing. i dont wanna fuss her to much if she is?

Put her in a wet pillow case or bag and she will more than likely remove it on her own without to much fuss

A dampened pillow case works well enough. Or you can make a humid hide. Even my arid dwellers like the humid hide. Tupperware container with a lid, sphagnum moss and a spray bottle. Cut a hole in the front, stuff it full of moss, dampen with a spray bottle.

Or just use a dampened pillow case
