Greetings all, wondering how long I can keep a hatchling (spotty or stymson) in a click clack before moving to more permanent enclosure? Also curious about basking lamp/heat mat use in such small enclosure wil there be issues trying to maintain a suitable temperature?

A spotted or stimson python could live in a big click-clack for there whole life but as a hatchie maybe start keeping it in a 2lt tub then you can upgrade to a 5lt and so on i would keep it in a tub for at least a year before upgrading it to a enclosure even a year and a half as they are a small snake :)

I've found heat cord on one side to be the best way to heat tubs. Just use a thermometer and adjust the amount of cord until you find the right temperature.
Good luck
