Yeah spotted and indeed small for that age. Not by too much though I think it's hard to tell without something for scale. Good on you for taking it on though and I'm glad it's coming along. Such a cutie! :)

Yeah definitely undersized spotted but easily could be reared back to health. As the previous post mentions, good on you for taking him on. Such a small snake does cost a bit and costs a lot of TLC so you've done a great job.

I'm not 100% cause I rescued him from a mate who had no idea about them but he bought it as a blonde I'm not good at telling the difference lol

Looks like a hatchling spotted python. my 10month old stimsons are much, much larger than that

example pics;

My smallest stimson- hatched 26-12-11, and didnt feed at all for the first few months of her life. This photo was taken 11-9-12

This second picture is the same snake, 8-4-12, i.e. 4mo, once she'd had a few feeds

male windorah stim- same age, photo taken on the same day as above.

its a nightmare to feed. it has perfect set up as it has my stimmies old setup and it thrived well. its dob is Aug 2011. i dont know what the people before did to this poor thing but it has a real chip on its shoulder attacks everyone and thing. i guess its because of how its been cared for previously, hopefully it grows out of it. but once again ill stand by my belief that "there is no such thing as a nice spotted." lol ill just keep doing assisted feeds till it bulks up and will eat on its own.
because its not normal for it to be so small as a yearling.

That's my oldest I think about ten and never been bitten by it :) so there is at least one nice spotted :D

I gather based on that last picture you havent quarantined it... risky thing to do, considering you know very little to nothing about it...

Assist feeding may very well be making it more nervous and more inclined to bite, and less likely to feed on its own accord as its becoming more stressed..

anyway.. all the best with it..
