Pretty sure that's the company building replica Cobras :) Oh, it is: Welcome to Python.com.au

Some poor girl falling out of her top on it...but that's the site

One of my fav cars! I've got a bloke up the road from me with a half-hidden supercharged 427 version which makes me go weak at the knees.

Love these cars too VenoOOse, plus a whole heap of others :) and thats why I have 2 v8's sitting in my garage ;-)

ooooooh...i want V8's back in my garage :( ...I mean, my carport :D

Yeah, I might have to go out to my shed and drool on my truck

It is a 1979 Daihatsu delta with a 400 chev (real engine;)) mid mounted with a T400 trannie and a commodore irs LSD. Weighs in at 1440kg. Tail shaft is 33cm long:shock: Does 11 sec 1/4 mile :D

I saw Calder park on tv with the rally there..... so sad to see it rotting away and getting so overgrown and run down :( I know the oval track racing is a tad boring, but surely they wouldnt have built it without being sure auscar would succeed? A shame it never caught on.... would be good if the supercars ran there.... too run down for that now, and too expensive to repair I guess..... sad

Impressive, but real engine? :D Perhaps a 460 might have been the go :)

I looked at putting a 454 in it but not enough room between the rails, so, since I already had the 400 small block.... and: E=MC squared meant it had to go in  It lights up the rear tyres at 80kph as it is, so more horsepower was not going to be needed, and the big block is 100kg heavier for no real gain. 1000kg on the front axel and 440kg on the rear=excellent burnout machine

I agree, Calder is in a little disrepair & it would cost massive amounts of $$$$ to bring it up to par again. I don’t think anyone would want throw away that much $ to upgrade it back to its former self. Its still gets used a lot, but just not in the way to generate enough $ to put into a revamp. Shame, as it’s in a perfect locality/land size & far enough away from residential buildings. The Commodore club are doing a charity run this Sunday & ending up at Calder. Should be good to see, if I wasn’t booked at another car club event on sunday to do a photo shoot.
Anyway here are my 2 rides….my baby is the black one :)
