I've just noticed there's a waiting list for Albino Darwins at $1000 a pop
Geez, i must be selling mine to cheap.......
Looks like the prices for these guys are not dropping.
I'll be keeping the same prices as last year by the looks of it.:D
Aleks.

More like $1,300 a pop lol and here i thought average prices for albino darwins were $800. It may be because they are a genetic blend of blondie and phoenix lines, no idea.

Edit: had a look on the order form and they are $1000, 20% discount...my bad.

Snakeranch seem to be charging above average market prices for most of their species unfortunately.

well i'm not sure on the availability of it where you guys are, which might affect the price but they are actually a tad bit more expensive here because they are so rare here in south Africa, i mean you could ask many reptile keepers and breeders about darwins and they wouldn't know what you are talking about, i too am new to the breed/morph :) looking forward to learning a whole more about different breeds here :)

I ordered one, hopefully should be ready feb/march.
Mungus you have to throw up some pictures of the different lines mate would love to have a look.

Yeh the attachments of urs in the Albino thread didnt work, i would love to see some of ur phoenix line albinos when u get the chance.
Well id imagine that theres many deposits on them, they may be a little expensive but they are top quality, reputable breeders.

congrats mungus. Get those pics happening mate! :p

SR probs pay a few extra $$ in tax than most hobbyists.... & yes they do have Phoenix & Blondie lines.... Which essentially show no real difference but potentially offer good diversity which is a good thing especially as both are well proven and would have displayed any real recessive nasties by now.

Im surprised with how many are being bred these last few years that the price hasnt dropped quiet a bit...

I suppose you have to ask yourself..

do I want to sell them rather quickly at a reduced price?? ..

or do I want spend money on food for a year feeding them while I try to find a buyer..

I paid $500 last season,

Just because sr are selling at this price doesn't mean that's the market price, there are that many being bred this year the price will deffiantly be lower then last year, especially the way the economy is.

Scorps

breeders are hard to find sometimes. The ones that have cheaply priced albinos always seem to sell them before you can get a chance to buy some and they are not always in your area or state. With good quality breeders like SN sure you pay a bit more, but you are guaranteed quality, a clean snake and easy transaction
