Large rat pellets - any other brands ???

YS feeds have stopped production on the large rat pellets about 40mm long and 15mm square.

Does anyone know of another brand as the smaller YS pellets fall thru my feed hoppers and im now wasting about half of ea bag i buy and it's frustrating me.

Gordon's are fairly large. They're kinda pricey too though.

I use vella stock feeds rat and mouse nut, before that i used trueblue dog food.
Is a standard size pellet.. and sits in a half inch mesh hopper just fine

I use Bio Mare $25.00 for 25 kg and my ratties are thriving
pellets are a good size

how big are the vella's ? i mix true blue in with the pellets atm + biomare but they fall thru now too as the big pellets used to act as a buffer and stop everything from just easily falling thru.

Anyone else know of larger pellet brands ??

laucke mills and ausorganics are a reasonable size pellet and dont fall throught the 12.7mm aviary mesh.

Cheers I'll see if i can find them near the Penrith area, my hoppers are made from aprox 12mm x 20mm aviary wire and the YS cubes were perfect.... I dont really want to re-wire 24 lids to tubs if i can help it. I'lltake a pic of hopper today.

Vellas rat and mouse nut are the same size as trueblue pellets and just as cheap. Think from memory there $22 for a 20kg bag.
Solution may be just changing your hoppers to half inch square mesh
