How do you know if a snake is over weight?? i was handling both of mine today and their tails seems to be pretty small. its like BULDGE and then tail is like SMALL how can u say if a snake is overweight?? almost like a ball python :( not as fat tho

What snakes do you have? Knowing that will help. And how often do you feed them and what do you feed them?
normally they are firm to touch and not squishy in the tummy area. And a ridge should be seen running down the back, its spine. If it is very round like a PVC pipe, then it could be chunky. But like i said before, knowing what you have might help :)
 
so they are both young snakes? Any chance of some pics?
I normally wouldn't feed them less than 7 days between each meal, or until the rodent has passed out the other end.
My stimi eats 1 or 2 adult mice every 2 to 3 weeks. And my carpet python has 1 to 2 weaner rats every 3 to 4 weeks. They are both about 3 years old.
 
Sound constipated.... Young snakes r fine at 5/10 day feeds
