i was at my fathers place having a swim & i saw a eastern water dragon eat a live bee can it eat a bee without being posioned or killed.
It was only small afew weeks old maybe more, after it keep on eating ants and what ever it saw in front of him
 
Given that it apparently kept eating. I'd say. Yes they can.
 
Yep big ones sit in my yard amongst the clover chomping bees for hours. I have seen beardies at my place do the same thing.
 
cool i was worried it's not that common that they travel 300 metres+ from the creek to his house
in winter i do not think he has any where to hide
 
as long as they don't get stung in the throat as they eat it there should be no problem,it's just some other protein source
