Looking for a first time pet snake, just basically want to know idea on which snake to get? and where breeders are

Depends on the , Spotted and Children's pythons are generally small, normally they get max length is 1.0m but sometimes Spotted pythons can grow to 1.5m

which would you say is better? don't want one bigger then 2 metres.

Children's Python they grow to 1.0m, There a good starter snake, as they generally don't get big. Price range 100-400 depends on the colour you want.

Sort of, As it depends on how much the Snake has been handled. Some can start off being snappy, generally around hatchling and sometimes yearling. Some snakes grow out of it, some snakes don't.

okay no worries, what about breeders or just buy from a pet store?

wait for a reptile expo or try the classifieds section on this site

I got a woma python, last week. A month and a half old and she already loves being handling. She will sit on my hand for ages. And she is really placid. Im really surprised because at this age they are usually snappy. Womas are a great first snake, they down grow really large but they do need alot of floor space.

Stimsons python. they are small, placid and I think they look a bit better then childrens (own 1). Womas are awesome they grow to around 6ft (own 2). If you want a bigger snakes, Bredli's :D they are really placid but do get quite big 8ft (own 1).

What state/area are you in? This could help direct you to a breeder!

I have replied to your other thread regarding first snake, I stand by what I said in your other one, go a Stimmy as you only want a small snake.
As Explode stated, all snakes can be snappy, it depends on the individual snake itself. Some grow out of it and others just have their natural instincts of not wanting to be handled at all.

Agreed though, Murray Darlings are nice, so are BHP's ;) (wouldnt recommend for a first snake, get very big but are awesome snakes :p)

+1^^^ to snapped Murray Darlings are a fantastic beginner snake. (My first snake) very placid nicely patterned animals. They are fairly large but nothing unmanageable. Woman are fantastic too. Just love there food. Which is good but don't get a tag when it's dinner time. Stimsons are another great one. Usually to 1m in size. I wanted a slightly bigger snake so didn't go for one but they are placid and quite nice patterns. Wheatbelts in particular are very nice IMO.
best of luck with choosing your snake. You will love owning one!
