Hi everyone, i havn't made many posts yet and eagerly awaiting my moment to buy my first snake, looking around there are a whole lot of people on here who are breeding this time of year (or hatching this time of year to be more accurate) and i thought it would be fun to see what everyone is breeding. Pics would be amazing and i'd love to know how the clutches are looking too :)

I've bred some albino darwins this year, I'll post up pics of parents and hatchies. They're going through second sheds at the moment. And please nobody PM me these are not for sale cheers.

Make sure you look hard and find a quality animal that you're really interested in.

The children's have been due to hatch for the past week now, but only recently started loosing moister, so any day now.
The jungles and intergrades are due at the end of February.

Hey just wondering why u mark the eggs?

I mark the eggs before moving them, so if I have to separate any or if some aren't stuck to the rest, then I know which way is up, which is important, because the eggs will die if turned.

so if the egg turns over it dies?
stuck to the rest? what you mean by that

Yes, reptile eggs can't be turned over or the egg dies.

You will notice in 3 of the tubs in my photo, eggs are stuck together.
Not long after being laid, they stick to each other.

If the egg rolls it dies...... there is a short window within a few hours where an egg can be turned as after this period the embryo attaches itself to the top of the egg where the oxygen is if rolled the embryo drowns.... therefor the egg dies very different to bird eggs which need to be rolled...But in saying that i turn my eggs to check mould under neath and can turn them "willy nilly" to check them or weigh them but ALWAYS place them back the right side up with no probs...

Yes always mark them before you try to seperate them...

Thought that helped determine the sex of the snake.

Or maybe that was crocodiles.

Nice MD's Nilesh!

Any pics of the parents RSP?

Here's both the children's.

Here's the mother jungle. Horrible photo, but it's all I've got. it doesn't capture her colours at all, she is very green actually.

Here's a photo of her brother, this is the only photo I have that captured the green colour. This is what she really looks like all over.

I don't have any photos of the intergrades, sorry.

This year i've bred Palmerston Jungles, Proserpine Coastals, Het. Axanthic Coastals and Northern Diamonds / Intergrades. Some of the clutches and parents are below.

Very excited today though as my first baby for the season started hatching today - 6 days early too!
