I currently have a female N.Levis pilbranensis and wondering if a male N.levis Levis could have healthy eggs or mate
Kind regards,
Nick

Yes they can produce offspring, though it is frowned upon and the offpsring won't be worth anything.

You have the Melbourne expo in a few weeks, Why rush out and grab just anything when you may
have a good choice at the expo!

Sub-species won't naturally breed together in the wild so why do it in captivity?

By definition (although the definition is subject to different opinions), sub-species are able to breed together, but don't for whatever reason (geographically 'recently' separated by a large river for example). But if individuals were brought together (by human intervention for example), then they have the ability to breed and produce offspring which can in turn produce their own. Hope this helps
