Crested Dragon, I've seen lots of these but this is the first one that stayed still long enough to get a decent photo.

I used to go herping all over the goldfields and out along the nullarbor, but I have recently moved to north queensland. haven't had much of a look around here yet, I hope to go in the near future, I'm not sure that the reptiles here will be as exciting as the goldfields though.
 
sorry about my mistake and I like the crested dragon. I'm planning a trip to the eyre peninsula and I would like to know some good spots please.
 
I'm not too sure where to find reptiles on the Eyre peninsula, it's a long way from where I used to go, but I'd have a look around salt lakes for painted dragons, and anywhere that people have dumped old bits of tin for crested dragons. I'm not really sure what sort of landscape is around there, but granite outcrops have been good places for reptiles also.
