I have a few month old coastal and when ever I handle it it makes a sort of clicking noise from its mouth. It's not aggressive or anything and its eating fine. The temp in the hot spot is currently 34 and the cold is around 25. I think it might be a r.i but not sure.

Any idea what it could be? Thanks

have you checked the mouth of your snake for any gunky/pus looking stuff? is he blowing bubbles or has excess saliva?
he could maybe just have some skin stuck in his nostril? is he coming to shed?

No his mouth looks fine no excess saliva or anything and he's not about to she'd either.

Nah way too light to be in shed and eyes are clear

You may have missed the "blue" stage? My friend has a sunglow that clicks all the time during shed.

Does it do this every day or just once in a while?

Correct me if wrong but on our farm we have heaps of costals in the wild and they are making clicking noises all the time so it may be natural
