Eggs don,t hatch on time

what do u do if the snake eggs dont hatch on the date u have
work out do u leave them or is there something you can do

I heard people say tht you have to cut them open because the membrain of the egg is to thick

Eggs hatch out when they are ready not when you "work out" they ready
You can work out a rough date , but its not normally exactly what you come up with , if it's with in 4-5 days either way then it's normally fine imo.
How many days has it been , what kind of eggs , what temps ?
