Hey guys,

Getting my little Darwin out to have a look after buying it and I noticed it seemed to have a dorsal stripe. I'm new to albinos so my question is, does anyone know how this will turn out as an adult? Does anyone have any pics of something that started out similar?

Is this an animal that you would consider "striped"?

Thanks!

wow that is a beautiful albino i would call it a striped albino it will look awesome when it's older,
i have seen some adults with a similar pattern and the are also awesome lol :)

Nice snake but I would call it semi striped at most as the stripe doesn't go all the way to the tail.

I agree with Pinoy, 'semi-striped/stripy' is a more apt description though it still looks beautiful nonetheless! As it matures the patterning will become more noticeable as the colours intensify, it will be quite a looker in my humble opinion :D

+ 1 photo isn't the best at seeing but yeah gotta go to the tail for me to call it striped

Thanks for the opinions! The title as such doesn't bother me at all, as this is a pet, not a breeding animal. Was just curious. Either way I can't wait to see what he becomes when he's older!

If you payed standard hatchling price I would be very happy with that python. Looks great. Good buy.
