Hi guys
Lately i have been thinking about making an incubator and after a bit of research i have a few questions.
1) Is a fan vital in making an incubator.
2) if so should it be left on or turned on every couple of weeks or so?
The best information that on i could find is this video which has been extremely helpful.

Do you guys agree with this way ?
Thanks in advance

Yes a fan is needed to circulate the hot air around evenly.. I run mine for the entire length of the incubation..
Its a computer fan hooked up to a voltage converting power pack.
That incubation method in the video is fine.
Hope that helps :)

Your best off just getting a single fan that sits inside the tower of a computer and prop it up somewhere inside the incubator a 12 -14cm fan should be suitable.

I run both my incubators with no fans, have done it that way for years.Fans generate heat, something to be aware of if you are getting temp spikes.
