Just waiting for snake callouts and took a few of Sonny's foraging trips while at the computer. During the day, she "shuttles" between her open enclosure and basking spot and exploring the room. This has only recently been happening (last few weeks) and has taken 12 months of patience on my part, but things should progress more quickly now until she's "people friendly" like Sidney.

So you shut the room and open the enclosure so she can roam a little and she just goes back in to bask and sleep?

After lifting the curtains (so they can't be reached) and "goanna proofing" everything in the room. This usually involves placing heavy items on the floor.

Native herps beat domestic feral mammals hands down as pets IMO, though some Tiger Quolls would be nice:)!

I heard quolls stay playful like a kitten their whole life and make great pets. Wouldn't it be good if they brought in a law saying all cats had to be desexed and phased them out as pets then let someone breed quolls for the pet trade.
