microclimate ADCS

hey guys was just looking at buy some new thermostats when i noticed this Microclimate Advanced Digital Control System ADSC II - Aquarium and reptile online shop in Melbourne. Specialise in Baby Turtles, Lizards, Frogs and Pythons also for sale!

has anyone used these and are they any good and are they very difficult to use , from what i gather they can take up to 4 temp probes , so i assume they could be used over 4 enclosure or 4 banks if your into that technique

so basically just looking for peoples opinions , the good and the bad , and if theres another model from another reputable company that may be better than im more than happy to hear it ( or read it i should say )

To use this as a 4 probe system you're looking at 750 bucks as you have to buy additional probes. You can get 4 dimming thermos that can do just good of a job for less with the added advantage that if 1 screws up the rest still run. If that ones dies, you have no heat over 4 lots of heat sources. Australian reptiles dimming thermos are pretty good for the price ( I think 120 odd bucks) I use them and have no dramas. Assess your needs and spend accordingly. Realisticly you'll probably only use them for heats and will never use the data logging etc.
