Frilly Setup - Help Me Please

Hello again everyone,

So as you might have seen, I am getting a frilly in a few weeks and in the process iof setting up its cage.
The list of things I want are:

- Repti Glo 10.0
- Ceramic Globe Cage
- Two Ceramic fittings (Able to screw into roof)


Not meaning to dis the site I am posting a photo of, and because of this I haven't disclose the name. The prices however are just so expensive and I was wondering if you guys know anywhere to get these things cheaper?




Before you all rage saying I'm unprepared, I'm willing to pay that much if it comes to it. I just want to avoid it where possible. Thanks!

Frillys need heat and heat costs money to produce and maintain. There are cheaper lizards to keep if cost is a major consideration.

I agree with Wokka, the biggest mistake new keepers to dragons and monitors make is under heating there animals.

I use MVBs for my frillies so they get sufficient UVB. I was under the impression that the fluro type globes don't put out enough UVB, but to be honest I haven't looked into it a lot. I'd like to hear opinions from other keepers regarding this.

Can anyone give me a little bit of a review of the Jet-500 Thermostat if they have used it. I have just stuck with habistat up until now, but they only go up to 34 degrees i believe. So I needed a higher temp

South East Queensland. Also this may sound very selfish and sorry if it comes off this way, however I don't have to worry about heating costs as my parents pay the power bill I know that sounds terrible but they are happy to do it.

Im only 16 living at home by the way!
