Hello again, has anyone used the reptileone fan heaters? are they any good for a jungle enclosure? I wonder if the fan would actually dry out the air ?

Yes, the fan would dry out the air & more importantly because of the fan fanning the heat, you won't be able to maintain a cool end to your enclosure.

haha okay okay, I'd never seen one before and of course the manufacturer gives little to none information about the product... thanks guys, I'll stick with the ceramic heating lamp then

I bought one a couple of years back when they first came out. I paid $90 odd for it and I used it for about 2 days. Absolute crap!

Holy crap!! That's a really good idea I've got about 200 Jap quail in brooders at the moment. I'm going to give it a try when I get home

Couldnt think of another use for it really, but brooding chicks it would be great. Keep the area warm an circulate air.
