I've decided to take my lizards to a reptile vet for a check up... Any recommendations for reptile clinics in Brisbane?

Cheers...

^ Beat me to it. I have used Clayton Knight before and I highly recommend him.

I wouldn't recommend Brisbane Birds and Exotics, I have had terrible experiences with them and so have a few good friends of mine.

Clayton Knight is the one to see!

Gillian at pawprint vet in stafford specialises in reptiles (keeps a few herself too) and out of Clayton, Brisbane birds and exotics and her, she's been the cheapest by far. All have provided quality service in my experience though.

Just out of interest, what happened to you and your friends there? I've only ever heard good things about them.

Anyone know of anything around the Logan / browns plains area???

I had a pretty poor experience there also. Took two clutches of jungles for sexing, and the state they came out in was pretty bad.

In fairness though if I had gone with a serious issue I probably would have gotten to see Debra and not a nurse that had no experience with snakes.

That is disappointing - did the nurse just not know what she was doing? Sasha is the other reptile vet there, she's very good from what I've heard.

Are reptile pets like others in that I should be taking them for regular vet check ups?

Yeh my main complaint was that I thought it was being done by Debra and was told after woods it was the nurses first time probing.

I wouldn't hesitate to take a sick or injured animal there if I was seeing one of the vets.

So anyone know of a good reptile vet in Logan/browns plains area??

That is really bad if you were told it was going to be done by a vet and it was done by a nurse. I certainly wouldn't be happy :/

Still asking?? Any good reptile vets in Logan / browns plains area?

I have dealt with Brisbane bird and exotic vets at Mt Gravatt for years, I have never had anything but excellent service and total piece of mind.If people want to tell me I am wrong, that's their choice, but I have many years of healthy, stress-free reptiles.
